Join Thich Nhat Hanh in India,

October 20-29, 2008

on the Path of Awakening Mindfulness.

Thich Nhat Hanh
Thich Nhat Hanh
Thay Nhat Hanh’s trip to India is the fruit of many years of preparation by our friends Shantum, Gitu and a number of concerned social workers, leaders, educators, businesspeople and intellectuals in India. They wish to bring Thay’s wisdom, gentleness and depth, as well as the Buddha’s message of awakening, back to India. At his advanced age, this could be his last trip to India. We want to address the actual situation of India, sharing the message of transformation and healing with the rich and powerful as well with the lowest of the low. There will be a Dharma talk to approximately 300 000 Dalits (former ‘untouchables’) who are now Buddhists in Nagpur.

The theme of his visit is ‘Peace in Oneself…Peace in the World’ through ‘Mindfulness in Education’.

If your cup is small,

a little bit of salt will make the water salty.

If your heart is small,

then a little bit of pain can make you suffer.

Your heart must be large.
