Difficulty of communication…

Nowadays, many centers think making an Internet website is enough to communicate well. Indeed, it is an essential space to count on but not sufficient to reinforce the visibility. For instance, information a center will put on its website will be seen by some people, maybe a thousand, but often less. Same information on a specialized media will be seen from ten to a hundred times more people, because the robots of the search engines come several times per day on this media in order to immediately get the news. The media then brings an immediate legibility and a better referencing making it possible to the Net users to find the piece of information from the first page of their research.

Loss of invaluable teachings…

Each year, invaluable teachings are given by great masters who come and go. Sometimes a small camera or a tape recorder tape the event, then time makes its work and each one keeps that in its heart. With a specialized media to store these great moments, everything could be different for the good of all.

Videos in full screen

Buddhachannel made available to all communities a unique system of full screen video on the Internet. Most centers can’t put videos on their website because of their heaviness. They often end up using YouTube or DailyMotion. Buddhachannel offers you more expressive, high quality videos. In small screen, a net user does not exceed an average 3 minutes of video watching. In full screen (such like television), you’re offered an access to real programs or teachings.

A way to share it even with those who cannot attend it. You can also consider setting up a permanent (or almost) camera which becomes kind of a live television. Imagine the possibility of discovering the real-time life of a French, Japanese, Tibetan or American temple!

A team made up of lay and objective journalists. An independant media, with no political support, therefore completely free in its editorial policy.

THE ‘SHARING’ PACKAGE : 150 € ($195 – £125) per year for each Buddhist place or group

– Contribution to the Sanghas News (monthly programme of Buddhachannel WebTV)
– Presentation of events and various information (texts + photographs)
– Presentation of the activities on the Newsletter of Communities
– Presentation of the centers and teachers in Buddhachannel directory

THE ‘PARTNER’ PACKAGE : 250 € ($320 – £210) per year

– Contribution to the Sanghas News (monthly programme of Buddhachannel WebTV)
– a whole week dedicated to a topic chosen by the community (submitted to the agreement of Buddhachannel, if possible coupled with a topic of a center from the same lineage, or in agreement with this topic)
– 1 week Advertising banner according to the technical possibilities and the availabilities
– Presentation of events and various information (texts + photographs)
– Presentation of the activities on the Newsletter of Communities
– Presentation of the centers and teachers in Buddhachannel directory

THE ‘BENEFICIARY’ PACKAGE : 500 € ($660 – £450) per year (or more)

– Contribution to the Sanghas News (monthly programme of Buddhachannel WebTV)
– a whole priority week dedicated to a topic chosen by the community (submitted to the agreement of Buddhachannel, if possible coupled with a topic of a center from the same lineage, or in agreement with this topic)
– Priority 1 week Advertising banner according to the technical possibilities and the availabilities
