Hundreds of Buddhists, Monks, including members of the International Buddhist Council and God Believers Association (GBA) from all over the world, celebrated Buddha Purnima at the Mahabodhi temple here on Thursday on this day when Lord Buddha was born and got his spiritual illumination.
Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, Social Reformer and Lead Man of God Believers or GBA (God Believers Association), who invariably pays respect to all world religions and their cultures and promote the faith of world believers all over the world said:
“This is 2554th Buddhist Jayanti, very important for the whole world since it carries the message of world peace to which God Believers (GBA) are seriously committed.
God Believers, (GBA) is dedicated to World Peace in general and devoted to Earth Saving Mission, in particular, from the angle of Global Warming through scientific, logical, practical and spiritual suggestions and remedies, hence this Jayanti is one of the most important events for them.
Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, Social Reformer, and Lead Man of God Believers Association (GBA) said, “Mahabodhi temple is considered as Budhdhists’ holiest shrine and people all over the world come here to celebrate the Jayanti, and this spreads the message of world peace and international brotherhood throughout and that’s what most needed in the world today.”
Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, and Lead Man of God Believers (GBA) congratulated the in charge and members of the BGTMC (Bodh Gaya Temple Management Committee), who so admirably organized a function by celebrating the 2,554th Buddha Jayanti at the Mahabodhi temple in Bodh Gaya and appreciated the event of organizing Special Prayers on this holy occasion for World Peace, to which God Believers (GBA) are seriously committed.
Dr. Raj Baldev further praised the holy way to begin the celebration with a procession from the 80-ft tall Buddha statue up to the Bodhi tree behind the temple depicts a sign of qreat culture.
Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, who is well versed with the Astrological significance of this day, said, “Buddha Punims is the most sacred day for not only Buddhists but all peace lovers in the world and all members of God Believers (GBA),” “Buddha Punima falls on a full Moon Day, thus it is considered pious from all angles, Dr. Raj Baldev, Cosmo Theorist, further said with folded hands and raising them towards Lord Buddha.”
