Today is the day of the new year Lao/Thai/Khmer. So we decided to upload a video fo Songkran Festival to see the traditionnal parade including the buddha statues washing in the streets.

Uploader says : “The Songkran parade in Chiang Mai Thailand was wonderful. Every time I was getting dry and hot someone would pour water down the back of my neck and back wishing me happy new year. The parade of Buddha statues with everyone throwing water on them, beautiful girls in traditional dress parading and dancing to local northern Thai music.”
