Human beliefs (see the Mircea Eliade History of Religions and The Golden Bough, A Study in Magic and Religion by James Frazer) have kept pace with the creations of villages, cities and megacities; but also with the extension of land cleared for agriculture, livestock and ownership of wealth in the basement for the industry.

The evolution of beliefs is relatively recent, less than two thousand years when man monotheistic declared that God gave the earth to let him live, him and his descendants. These believers in this unique God had systematically tortured and destroyed the polytheistic peoples who thought differently. These people believed in the divine birth of natural things, like that of the first man and first woman. They knew what plants were useful for their living, and they showed their respect; and shamans say they are our grandfathers sacred.

In shamanism, the trees are in solidarity with their clan, that is to say, all oaks belong to the soul of the oak, it is the same for all the poplars, willows, baobabs etc…

Shamans see it and they communicate with the souls of sentient beings. For a shaman, all manifestations of life have a soul, a body which moves in the consciousness level of the aura. There is the physical body of human beings, and for the plant is its root, the trunk or stem, branches, leaves and flowers and there is a soul that you can see with your Third Eye. The other world is wide, it consists of several levels. Seven, nine or thirteen for the worlds called Upper, different societies, shamans, and as for the worlds so called Lower. Between these two worlds there that says the environment where things are and people who have a physical body. The worlds most subtle have no resemblance to known landscapes. Only The worlds most subtle are dependent on farming or urban rituals and they reproduced it.

When they wanted to communicate with the unseen, insiders retreated into forests, mountains, on an island or in a darkened cave. There they fasted and meditated they cried for a vision. The Native American digs a pit in the ground to stay in prayer.

As the world we live commenced with the plant, it will ends when their soul can find no trees to continue to live on this Earth. Nature is the matrix of life: plant a tree is a gesture of love for the living.

As you can read it in The Wall Street Journal “Today, Mongolia is building its own version of the thing almost incredible: a row of rambling pines, willows, junipers, hawthorns, aspens and other trees that the country hopes to see spread over 3 000 kilometres across the desert “

The great forgotten is the direct impact of farming sheep and goats on deforestation. The saliva of sheep sterilizes the soil where no trees can be sown. Being vegetarian is vital for future generations.
