Sakya Kunga Ling made for you an exclusive interview of His Eminence Ratna Vajra Rinpoche, the elder son of His Holiness Sakya Trizin, when He came to Paris.
Sakya Kunga Ling : “Your Eminence, from your point of view, how can we help French and European people who are facing very hard pressures and troubles in their work nowadays ?”
His Eminence : “Generally speaking, every being has the same goal to happiness and to remove sufferings. Everyone try to have a more better attitude or a better behavior. Our main attitude, mental attitude, wise attitude is to develop love and kindness, and also compassion for all beings.
Based on this then, whenever we have problems, pressures from the work or the others, we should become wiser if we forget our own pressures and problems, even if it is more difficult for us to face those pressures nowadays.
This is the nature of our world, the Samsara. For example, I can think when I am suffering that I am not the only one, as many beings are facing that. So, instead of stressing or worrying, better solve the problems.
In that way, we have two solutions:
– First: if we can solve the problems, then we can just adopt the method above and solve them.
– Second: but if we cannot solve the problems, then there is no use to be worried. Just feel open minded and happy.”
