The Tibetan artist Tshering Wangdu plays the famous song Danyen Shabdro, “The lute’s players’ dance” (France, August 2009).
Tshering was trained in Kalimpong, India, and he was for many years a member of Gangjong Doeghar. He now lives and performs in France in solo or with the dancers he has trained. He has also released CDs of Tibetan traditional music.
