Her eminence Yumiko Nakashima has proposed supporting the nunneries in Bhutan, with a hope of bringing all Buddhist societies together.

Yumiko Nakashima who is on a five-day visit to the kingdom and is accompanied by Professor Pema Gyalpo, the International Relations officer of Japan met with Lyonchhoen Jigmi Y Thinley yesterday.

Her Eminence who will also be meeting with His Holiness the Je Khenpo is in the country to check the arrival of the ambulances donated by the city of Okayama that was committed during the prime minister’s first visit to Japan in 2008. Her eminence had donated the transportation charges of the ambulances from Okayama.
