Freedom – Inside or outside … ?
Given all the love and affection it needed
Taken care of…
Every Little thing she needed,
every comfort and luxury…
was given to her along with unconditional love
She was happy..
Until one day it came to her mind
what it would be like to be free
To be able to soar high in the enormous sky
To go wherever she wanted
To be on her own..
And then one day
Although reluctantly..
Her caretaker set her free.
And there she was…all full of joy
amazed to see the beauty of the world
She flew so far away…
It was a dream come true..
She felt so overwhelmed
until she looked back and saw
the known face was no longer there
It dawned upon her..
That the cost of her freedom
was Love, affection and luxury…
The world was at her knees,
Everything was as she wanted it
But the one thing that was always hers
Was taken away..
A part of her still wanted to live in the cage
But that was not to be
She had to move on now
Grow up… and stop being carefree…
