The first batch of monks enrolled by Wuming Culture Institute, which was established in 2003 have graduated after 8 years’ study in Tibetan medicine, Buddhism, astronomy and the calendar, poetry and Sanskrit.
The graduation ceremony was held in Nalanzha Monastery on April 27.
Nalanzha Monastery as one of the Sagya Sect monasteries was built up in 1435 in Lhunzhub County of Tibet.
