An amber collection show is being held on No. 707 Hubin Nan Road.

More than one thousand items collected by local citizen Zhao Yongliang are displayed at the show.

The exhibit items include blue amber, green amber, red amber, bone amber, caramel, and scenery amber.

The most precious one among the exhibit items is “Two Dragons play Dragon ball” (双龙戏珠), which is carved from blue amber. The current market price for the item is 1.26 million RMB, and it’s the first time blue amber sculptures have been shown in Xiamen.

Zhao Yongliang told the reporter he is a Buddhist, and amber is one of the seven treasures in Buddhism, so he collected amber, some of which are collected from other countries.
