The New Year reunion starts from the arts performance by the IBC Weekend School students. Before lunch, IBC Chinese Sangha members chanting sutras bless all present.
Chinese New Year Reunion Luncheon becomes an annual even at IBC. IBC students, staff, teachers, council members, supporters and neighboring villagers are invited for the reunion. This year, teachers from Confucian Institutes of Songhla and Chingrai have participated. The Confucian Institute of Songhla always supports IBC Chinese program.
Having given the year-end report, Ven. Wei Wu, IBC council chairman presents gifts (red envelop) to each participant. The reunion ends around 2 pm with blesses from Pali chantings.
