The teachings or kusens were recorded directly in the meditation hall (dojo) during a zazen session then remastered without any changes.
During zazen, Kaisen conveys the teaching to the practicioners sitting silently face to the wall. They receive directly his sayings in the depth of zazen, without any analyse or comments on what they hear. Thus the teaching penetrates the whole being without the interference of the personal spirit.
The listeners of this CD are invited to listen with deep attention, without any particular state of mind, as during meditation.
