In 2006, from June 8th to June 10th, Zen Buddhism celebrated its 40 years of establishment in Europe, at the temple of Gendronnière.
A great commemoration took place with many teachers and practitioners come from all of Europe and Japan.
Buddhachannel produced a series of 43 interviews with disciples of Master Deshimaru, for the occasion.
From these meetings, we also built a 28 minute film as a tribute to Taisen Deshimaru, Citizen Taisen.
This DVD reveals that the seed of Zen actually took root on a Western ground.
