Some of the fundamentals of the teachings of Gautama Buddha are:

The Four Noble Truths:

  • That suffering is an inherent part of existence
  • That the origin of suffering is attachment and craving
  • That suffering can be stopped
  • The path leading to the end of suffering is the middle way

The Noble Eightfold Path:

  • right understanding,
  • right thought,
  • right speech,
  • right action,
  • right livelihood,
  • right effort,
  • right mindfulness,
  • and right concentration.

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.

The mind is everything. What we think we become. “

Buddha

“All things appear and disappear because of the concurrence of causes and conditions.

Nothing ever exists entirely alone; everything is in relation to everything else. “

Buddha
