The insane ones are so numerous

The insane ones are so numerous around me,
That often I am afraid well to resemble to them,
Fear of losing the reason and of mislaying my agitation,
To more know to listen to the song of corns.

The insane ones are so numerous around me.
They resemble those of yesterday so much,
With those which killed the stags and the chamois,
Then men, in the furnaces and the boilers.

The insane ones are so numerous around me,
That I am afraid to be gained by their insanity,
Fear of being their similar, their double, their super-ego,
To forgive them and to offer my leniency to them.

The insane ones are so numerous around me,
That sometimes it seems me to have the disturbed spirit,
And that nobody sees any more what I see.
Then I remain alone with you, lost, me the foreigner.

The insane ones are so numerous around me,
That you remainders my only conviction, my certainty,
My clearness, my mirror, my me with me,
Please, promise to me to persevere, my loneliness. >
